Heather, Intern class of 2015

Through the Internships, specifically the Embrace the Cross teachings, strongholds of pain and darkness have been broken, things I have been carrying around for most of my life. A lot has changed in me. I am a new woman and I could not be more thankful for what God has done for me.

Rachel, Intern class of 2016

The teaching in the Blessed Hope caused me to hope again in the day of Christ’s return. I didn’t realize how much I was putting my hope in other things until I was confronted with this teaching. Everything that I had been hoping and praying for my whole life, every desire for completeness, love, safety, world peace, bravery, and justice is wrapped up in that day. This teaching identified scripture that explained this restless longing for more and increased my desire for the Day of the Lord.

Peter, Intern class of 2016

Of all those good encounters, the personal time spent with the LORD during the prayer sets was the most amazing for that was when transformation of the heart took place as the result of intimate communion with GOD.

Sarah, Intern class of 2016

So, all in all: prayer, embracing a lifestyle cross-centered walk with God, with a willingness to suffer and be evermore humbled in the face of pride and all other sins–these are some of the takeaways from this internship that have permanently marked me.
